Your attention please all passengers...with confusion and comfort we live out our lives... but your reality has consequence... escape in front or behind me..down the center we score your slide.
It doesn't make any sense, Admiral. Were we better than the Japanese or just luckier?

I certainly hope so. I want my P80s to shoot them down. I wonder if anyone, the dev doods, have obtained any jet fighter sounds to use with P80s, the J8N1 as well. I asked this several months ago in the air war thread ....
My e-troops don't unload OVER THE BEACH anymore, see:
Amphibious Assault at Kota Bharu
TF 85 troops securing a beachhead at Kota Bharu, 51,75
whew! I still feel better.

I would hazard a guess and say no - simply because even the J7 variant we have in WitP is the W1 version with a prop rather than jet engine.

Japan will probably not get any jet aircraft in stock, though I could be wrong. Theres always mods though.

Course, I'd welcome someone who actually knows for certain to prove me wrong. [;)]

Yeah, but in both the continuing manga and the anime, it was crewed by the JSDF.

Is it not enough to simulate what actually happened in the pacific war? Are not "What ifs" just conjecture anyway? Your key phrase was "if they live long enough". Trying to design a pacific war game that simulates what happened is hard enough without adding a lot of stuff that did not really figure in like jets and that BB with the very large caliber main gun that the japs thought about. We all do however have our own little "HEY can ya add this" kind of thing and this seems to be yours. It will be interesting to see what (if any) real "what if" items are included.
