Is there a limit on Formation Ranges?

Is there a limit on Formation Ranges?

HI,

I'm new to the game and was playing a game last night in which i was trying to change the range circles of the Keflavik base formation. I was trying to make the ranges bigger but If I changed the last circle to anything over I think it was 240, once I hit execute all the ranges changed to some low numbers.

Has anyone experienced this?

Yes.  The current maximum range for the outside ring of a formation is 255 nautical miles.

Hi,

Thanks for the reply.

I have actually been playing harpoon since the first one came out.  I think I was playing it with CGA graphics.  Then played all of the others as they came out.  The other day I was sitting thinking about how fun it was and how there are no current games like it so I looked it up and found that Harpoon CE existed.  Wow was I happy.   Having a great time so far.
