Replenishment TFs

Post by Kingfisher »

I have two carrier TFs of about 10-12 ships in the same hex as a 3 ship replenishment TF w/ 12,000 pts of fuel. They have been stationary for about 4 turns and on each turn I would click the 'replenish at sea' button. Each time I see the destroyers come close to topping off, but no fuel is distributed to the larger ships. The last turn no one accepted any fuel, so I assume the DDs got their fill (even though it is less than their full allotment) but my cruisers and carriers are hovering around the 6,000 fuel pt mark. The replenishment TF still has over 8,000 pts to give out.

What gives?

As far as I am aware this feature does not work (or works very poorly) in UV.

From my experience, the smaller vessels with lower endurance will be refilled nearly everytime. Big vessels are supposed to be operabele for long time even with only half of their endurance left therefore you will see them replenished quite seldome. Just a theory.
