so, back on subject.... I guess if you want to divert carrier firepower, but a CA or BB group there. However, if you want to cover such a group on the way to a target, having them in the same hex is the best way to do it........seems like a no-win to me.

It had indeed occured to me. But I had not been small minded enough to consider you so small minded. Tell me off by all means, but "rub your nose in it" is truely insulting. Try using your mouth to speak and not your asshole.

As far as I recall this is the first time you've crossed the line on our rules and used this kind of language here, so this is just a warning. These are family-friendly forums, read by people of all ages. If you find yourself wanting to use this kind of language with another poster, use the ignore button instead. If you lose your self-control and keep posting this kind of language, then the next time it won't be a warning. Thanks for keeping the other forum members in mind.

I did.

Then, as usual you can't read / make no effort to take in the facts correctly before jumping to conclusions. My posts on WitP were made AFTER my posts here and NOT before as you suggust. Neither had they been "shot down" at the date & time of your post.

I don't follow this fully . Please clarify.
( EG "but a CA or BB group there." - Do you mean "put a CA or BB group there."? )

Please try to keep things civil when you make a post.

This is not just for you DEB.

There is no excuse for personal attacks and the like from anybody.

This is supposed to be a place to discuss issues. I do not think personal attacks and/or insults are needed. If you can't express your yourself without them. Then don't post.

Edited after sleep for the childrens sake.

As you have not told off HansBolter ( who escalated this by deliberately baiting me in a vile manner ), you are evidently baised. Therefore I will not be taking any notice of you. [:-]

DEB. Just so you do not misunderstand, I am no longer going to reply to your posts on threads I start, and would ask that you no longer post to them, although there is no set Matrix rule against this. I respect that you disagree with my position, even with others giving similar examples. However, I have no respect for how you present your points, with the insults and name-calling, ect. For someone of the age you seem to be, and also of  reasonable intelligence, it is a suprise you feel you must resort to communicating in such a manner.

As you have not told off HansBolter ( who escalated this by deliberately baiting me in a very vile manner ), you appear to be baised. If I am grieviously insulted then I am entitled to defend myself in whatever manner I see fit, particularly when I have no assistance from anyone else ( including the moderators ). As for " family-friendly forums", that is laughable! If they are meant to be so, why do you let things go so far before stepping in? [:-] It appears people here can insult others to their hearts content, so long as swear words are not used. That is poor.

Deb,

Notice whatever you want. My only bias here is that people keep things civil. "Baiting" is an excuse for being unable to control yourself. There was no excuse for your language in the prior posts.

Argue your point of view all you want cleanly as that is what the forums are for.

Rubbish. I have spent most of my life being bullied & baited by various people. As a result I now suffer from depression to the extent I am unable to work. Frankly, I am past caring re "controlling myself", when faced with such moronic behaviour.

As I said before, tell that to HansBolter and I'll believe that you mean it.

Further to my previous reply.
Have you read the posts that led to this? If not, why not?
Your statement suggusts that you are reacting to a single snapshot of the total picture, which is a pathetic way to handle the situation. It's like handing out a speeding ticket to an ambulance caught speeding to/from an emergency by an automatic roadside camera.

DEB,

You don't have to listen to me. That is your choice and I will not argue with you.

But everyone (this means all of us) must listen to Erik.

Wrong.

This isn't a public street. We are here on Matrix's dime, and their rules (which you agreed to) clearly states your language is over the edge.

My attempt at humor. I do not understand how you percieved this as something sarcastic against you though.

Eriks expression about crossing ¨the line¨ is similiar to Mohammar Quadaffi´s expression of crossing ¨the line of death¨, but whatever.

I don´t need you to defend me. If you, or anyone else defend a position of mine it should be because you/they agree with the position and not out of a friendship type loyalty.
Rubbish. I have spent most of my life being bullied & baited by various people. As a result I now suffer from depression to the extent I am unable to work.

I suggest you try a strong excercise program. Weight lifting, some jogging, etc. See if that helps.
