CVs and max sorties

does anyone know how a CV that hasnt flown any sorties has a zero value of maximum sorties?

Its the Ryujo - all its done is sail from Tokyo to Midway and then south to Christmas Island to interfere with shipping - nothing happened for 3 turns - ive checked the details and the max sorties are 0/143 - 43 kates on board with a capacity of 48 and no damage - do i just need a call in port?

What mod is this? It could be that someone F'ed up in the mod design ( very easy to do with all those fields ).
 
Apart from that just drop into a port and resupply. That should fix the problem unless it is a mod data ( or corrupted savegame ) problem

once i feel more familiar with that then maybe some of them there fancy mods you young uns are always on...

ill head back to Lahaina and see if anything happens - damn shame watching all those APs and AKs float past!!!

The only thing I can think of is you didn't re-supply before leaving port. With that many Kates on board you must have off loaded your Zeros and possible this could also be part of the problem.

In stock the Ryujo does have a really limited number of sorties (143 or some such).  Did you possibly have the Kates on an ASW mission and deplete the av gas before getting on station?

In stock, don't you have to resupply (replenish) and that gives you the op points for sorties?
