Network Play

Post by Noakesy »

We have two PCs at home, that are networked. This looks a really nice game, but I'd prefer to play H2H with my son than against the AI. I'd appreciate some advice. Can I buy one copy and play my son on our pcs, or is that illegal or impossible (e.g. do we need to have the CD in the pc to play)?[:)]

Hey Noakesy,

Can't quite answer the legal part of the question, except to say that it would seem unfair to force you to buy another copy to play with your son in the same house (I'm assuming he doesn't have his own household). Technically though, you do not need the CD to play at all and can install and run it on as many computers as you'd like.

Cheers

Thanks for that, very helpful, and clears things up a a bit (yep, he is in the same house, seemed a bit mean to make a 14yr old live somewhere else [;)][:)])
