Unable to View Replay

Recently purchased CCMT from the website, appreciate the nifty replay feature, but was unable to view the replay file submitted by Andrew in this post. The NEXT button is disabled in the Briefing screen.

Currently patched to the latest version.

The replay file however, will run in the unpatched version 1 of CCMT.

This seems to affect multiplayer replays only, as 1P vs AI replays have no such problem.

Anybody has the same issue ?

I suspect that the replay file is from unpatched version.

I'll check it today.....  But that was posted Novemebr 2007 , So I can't remember the details.

I have a patched and unpatched installation so will see if that's the issue.

Yep

The replay was made with the unpatched version of MT

It works withnthe unpatched version not with the patched.

One more question, anybody has any problems viewing patched Multi-player Replays with the patched CCMT version ?

All players running patched CCMT, the replay file saved by the Host player.

The replay can be viewed immediately after the battle, but once closing and restarting CCMT, I get the same disabled NEXT in the Briefing screen.

We're looking into it

In the meantime I've attached an exe that will allow you to view the replays.

Unzip it to your CCMT folder.

Only use it to view replays... not to play games or create scenarios.

Thanks for the patched EXE, Andrew. Will test it out.

Case closed, which I hope will be merged into the next official CCMT patch.

Just to confirm the new EXE works with replays.

But make sure the MODS installed in your copy of CCMT must be exactly the same with the replay file you are viewing, else it will crash to desktop.

ie. when viewing a replay made with Spinel's VDV mod installed (not necessary being used on the map), make sure its installed in your CCMT SysCon before you replay it.

Feature Request
It would be nice if the Replay file can indicate what Mods it's being recorded with, but thats a nice-to-have at the moment.
