I'm running the latest version of WITP using Windows XP and I'm playing the Japanese in the end of 12/41 when I hit the following problem.
I assign 2 APs of 3K capacity each to transport an AA unit requiring 2916 of transport space on an AP. The unit to be loaded is assigned to the Southern Area Army and is located in Saigon. I give the load orders and when I check nothing has loaded, but it shows a different unit, which isn't really loading, and it says loading supplies.
What gives? Is this a known bug? I've tried to work around it and nothing.
Help......

I never thought that doing an AAR would be so time consuming and difficult.

First - make sure DO NOT UNLOAD is checked, otherwise you can (possibly)load and unload in a single turn.
Second - ship should have no OP points used, otherwise things will go wonky.
Third - check "Load Only Troops"
Fourth - load only 1 unit at a time per TF.
If you have done all these things already - post some screenshots.
RE: Loading Bug
I did all of that. I don't know how to do the screen shots.

To CAPTURE A SCREENSHOT:
1. Press "Print Screen"
2. Then exit out of what you are looking at (alt-tab)
3. Open graphics program (MS-Paint or whatever you like - i like IRFANview for this due to it's ability to easily crop)
4. Use PASTE function (ctrl-ins or ctrl-v or drop-down menu).
5. Save as a JPG file.
To UPLOAD a file:
1. Below the white box for the text of your reply, there is a line that says,
"File | Click here to upload [] Embed picture in post"
2. Select "click here to upload". A pop-up with "selct a file to upload" will appear. Note you might have to make pop-ups enabled to get this
3. Select the "browse" button, and find the file that is your screen shot, the select "ok". You'll get a message about "file being uploaded, this may take several minutes". Once its done, you’ll get a message “File Uploaded Successfully” – click OK. If the file is too big (>200K) or has a wrong file extension, etc. you will get an error message.
4. You will return to your "reply" screen. Check the box that says, "Embed picture in post".
5. Click on "ok", and then post your message as usual.

I'll give it a shot shortly, thanks.

Duh, I have nothing below the text box that says anything like #1. Add sig and Notify are the only things showing. Now I'm feeling like the fool.

OK, I got it. I was looking in quick reply. Now it says that the pic is to large. I need a program to resize it.
This is like pulling teeth.

RE: Loading Bug
When the forums were limited to 200kb attachments I had problems with standard jpeg saves of screenshots from my widescreen monitor in its native 1650x1080 resolution. This made it impossible for me to post the AAR of my beta test of a BFTB scenario (see the BFTB forum). That was instrumental in getting Erik to increase the size limit to 500kb for that forum. To the best of my knowledge they have since done so accross the board for all forums (at least the ones I frequent). I have not since had a problem........I just checked and this forum still has the 200kb limit, go figure! Might be time to petition Erik for a size increase here.

Sometimes when converting the picture to JPG, it will ask for quality - usually best to just set to somewhere in the middle.
RE: Loading Bug
OK, will do a little late as RL calls and my opponent awaits the turn.

I'm baffled, but happy as the game has decided to work properly again.
I'll work on that sizing for future posts.

Now it's hit my opponent. I like that, an equal opportunity bug. It should resolve itself again in a turn or 2.
