Updating to 2.29

Hey everyone, I'm wanting to get back into this and I'm currently at 2.0... can I just download 2.29 and bypass the other two updates?

I have not installed it fresh in a while.

you will need ti install 2.27 then 2.29
or youll have issues with dll files

I had some issues with my hard drive a couple of weeks ago and had to re-install the game. This what I had to download and install.

SetupRelease 2.2.70 (04/07/2008) and then UpdateRelease 2.2.90 (09/08/2008)

The game works fine.

We went over some install issues in beta, but by then we had already been given the bad news.
 
So, 2.2.9 isn't an install ready build?
 
I guess that's what happens when the developer leaves the project.

The 2.2.70 is the complate game install and the 2.2.90 is just the patch/update. I tried to just install the 2.2.90 but it wouldn't run the game. I got an error that said Direct X wasn't installed. The 2.2.70 has the Direct X install routine. 2.2.70 is about 250 meg and the 2.2.90 is about 160 something meg. Something is missing from 2.2.90.
