WWII/Road to Victory

I am not impressed with the AI. It did not keep a continuous line and so as the Russian player I cut off 2/3 of the Germany army in late 1941 and eliminated it. The German AI player also did not even attempt to save it's army corps that it continuously allowed me to surround and eliminate their armoured corps which are so expensive to build. After I defeated both Germany and Italy in April 1943 the game said that Romania was the new Axis player even though they had surrendered to the Russians back in late 1942.

Even when playing the Germans I found the AI would not keep a continuous line and just defend around the cities allowing me to surround each city at my leasure and eliminate each army group as I saw fit.

Overall I did enjoy the game. It would be nicer though if the AI player was not so stupid.

Hello Tony.

Thanks for your impressions.

We are aware of the AI weaknesses and already betatesting new patch with improved AI able to keep front lines instead of just defending the cities.
