In graphic folder copy soldierB file and rename/overwrite it to soldier file.

Be sure to make a backup of these files.

I'd like to have them smaller.

there are several 'small soldier' mods out there for previous versions that will work with WaR.  Brings the soldiers down to between 7-8 pixels per meter like the vehicles.
If it does not have a gun, it cannot be fun.

I have no idea where the links are...there are 3 or 4 versions out there at various sizes. I'll see if I can find one

Can't attach a zip file, so send me a PM with your email

Maybe the DEVs could add that mod on the official downloads website?

Neil could you send through your 8pix soldiers? (7.66pix)

I can't find it anywhere.

I think they were a better compromise

Should I post these 9.5pix guys up for download?

They won't effect H2H and will be compatible with any mod.

Yes, please do!

What do you mean with 'won't effect H2H'? It doesn't work with H2H, or both should have them installed, or something else?

Cheers,

Moss

Just curious but would the mods (big or small) effect LOS etc for individual soldiers or are they merely aesthetic ?

Purely aesthetic. These came about as a way of making the soldier scale closer to the scale of terrain and vehicles.

One person can have them installed and the other can have stock...it will not have any effect on play. The guy with the stock Soldier file will see normal size guys on his screen for both sides, and the guy with the small soldiers will see small soldiers for both sides.

Whats right scale? I mean, the most realistic compared to the Tanks and Buildings?

In CC, the terrain is 5ppm, vehicles average 7-8ppm, stock soldiers are between 11-12ppm (depending on how tall you imagine they are)

I sent Andrew and Moss a set that I did at 7.66ppm that I think is a good compromise while still not needing binoculars to see them on screen. I think Andrew will be setting up a link for it.
