Wish List Poll

Post by siRkid »

Here is a list of wishes that have been posted. Pick the top 3 you would like to see implemented. This is just my personal poll. Matrix may or may not act on any of these items.

Rick

I screwed up the poll and you can only pick one. Sorry.

Would and administrator please modify my poll to allow for three choices. I must have done something wrong. Thanks.

I couldn't pick three so I just picked my most important. A % completion for base facilities would be very nice indeed.

Could only pick 1, so % of airfield/port/fortifications completed.

The only other I have is Waypoints for TF.

As an addition to my votes in your poll, I'd like to also raise my hand and ask for mouse wheel scrolling support and waypoints for TF's ;)

How about taking the top three from this poll, and adding:

1)TFs should automatically attempt to refuel upon reaching their home port, and should not refuel without manual intervention at any other port. This would prevent an AK convoy dropping off supplies from using all the fuel that was stored at the port for use by barges. The AK convoy can almost always make it back to Noumea/Brisbane/Truk without refueling, so why suck dry the forward bases?

2)If you do not like the route to a destination plotted by the computer, you should be able to pick waypoints for the move that force the computer to plot a course including the waypoints.

3)Under human control, subs should have a command to track (follow) spotted enemy TFs. This would allow the subs to have a chance to overcome the counter maneuvering afforded by number 2. But the subs should have a chance of losing the TF each impulse, which would cause it to stop following until the TF is spotted again.

4) TFs away from coasts and ports should be spotted less often. Almost any TF in the middle of the Coral Sea is spotted every turn by aircraft from Rabaul. The aircraft would more likely be searching for TFs approaching Rabaul or traversing choke points than for something that might appear in the middle of the Coral Sea, several hundred miles away.

5)3 lone bombers, whether B17s or Nells, should rarely, if ever, get through 40+ fighters without losing any. As it stands now, the converse seems to be the case. If they come with 3 fighters, they will almost always get through. Three fighters would not successfully be able to hold off 40+ fighters, and keep them all from the bombers.

Do the poll correctly to allow three choices this time.

I did have a list of over 30 items that have already been submitted by the testers. Some of your items are on that list. However, the poll only takes a max of 10 options.
