World War One mishap

Post by NKlose@AOL.com »

WorldWar One will not accept my serial number as valid. Version 1.03 worked fine until I installed the 1.04 patch. It told me that my registration number was incorrect, and it won't let me play! What should I do? I deleted the game, restarted windows, re-loaded it---still NOTHING....HELP, please

Did you re run the Configuration Utility and enter your serial?
Each patch has required reentry of the Serial via the utility.

Starting with next patch, we are told that this will no longer be necessary...

I encounter the same problem. Still only version 1.03 runs... which crashes and freezes.... very bad situation indeed [:@]

Try going into the game directory, opening the serial.imi and pasting the serial number between the quote marks. Be aware that the opening video may not run. Hit ESC to get to the game.
