Have everyone else experienced a weird Groundhog Day Issue?

Post by ulver »

In a current 1.30 beta patch (B) game the Evil Overlord and I have a strange occurrence at end of Impulse 1 March/April 1915.

The turn should skip to the strategy phase of May/June 1915 which also in part is true as there are diplomatic notification for Italy. But on the same time we are being prompted to activate units and the turn is still registered as being impulse 1 March/April 1915?

Basically every day is April 1st 1915 no matter how many times we play it. The Good news is I finally managed to retake the Russian capital on the 3rd play of the same impulse – the bad news is that my opponent doesn’t seem to think it should count.

Rule lawyer I say but at some point I suppose the Entente would like an economic phase as well.

Frank, helpful as ever, seems puzzled by the error so we were wondering if anyone else has come across the issue.

Yes, I ran your saved game and didn't have any problem, I can't explain that nor can I explain why it only happened in the spring of 1915.

We were using respectively B and C versions of the beta patch. Thats the only explanation I can think of.
Hit them where they aren't
