I am missing something??

I just purchased this game, based on the solid feedback on this forum, and my interest in that period of history. However, I am missing a solid manual... I would presume that the download version has the latest manual.... It's like missing basic mechanics, movement, unit selection, etc... Is this the twilight zone? going thru the tutorials from Lava, I must have missed text, does not explain basic interface and mechanics.....????

mantrain, I've submitted a re-written manual to Frank Hunter, the game's designer. It includes many very useful tips gathered from this forum. It also attempts to put more basic 'game mechanics' information closer to the start of the manual. The aim is to make the game easier and faster to get into. Hopefully Frank/Matrix will publish the new manual soon.
