Hosting Curiosity, Nation Changing

OK I've come across a little surprise while working through testing some issues. A side effect is it allows you to load your own PBM files easily.

The situation is you start with an old save game and are loading up PBM files in order to help identify/narrow down a bug or somesuch.

You get to your own PBM file and you can't load it. So previously I would change who the host was, take a backup, load the new host nations file and continue loading PBM files continuing to change host and backup as needed in order load PBM files. Bit of a fiddle but it works.

However I discovered that when you reach your own PBM file, if you change the host at that point and then click to load the PBM file it not only will load but suddenly you are playing as the new host nation ! Weird.

OK here you go. A backup file and four PBM files. Game host is Turkey and the game starts with French diplomacy. Do the following -

Load the game from the backup file
Load French Diplomacy
Load Russian Diplomacy
Now you cannot load Turkish diplomacy because you're playing Turkey so
Go into the admin menu and change Russia to be Email Host and Turkey Email client.
Click OK
Then without leaving the game click the 'load PBM file' button
It loads the Turkish file and voilà - you are now playing Russia !

I think this is more of a curiosity than a real issue because I can't think of a way this could affect game play in reality.
