I don't remember JA2 requiring this much knowledge about guns n ammo. Is there some place to find an ammunition matrix so that I can figure out what sort of ammo I need to acquire for my mercs' various weapons?

Also, how do you trade equipment between mercs during battle?

If you mouse-over a gun in your inventory, the ammo that fits it should also light up in the inventory. Alternately, right click on it and you should have its ammo information there too. You can trade equipment between mercs on the battlefield as long as they are close to each other. Open up one merc's inventory and drag and drop it over to the nearby merc's tab.

What about clip sizes? I remember in JA2, you could repack 15-shot clips into 30-shot ones, and vice versa, but not during battle, so you had to prepare them beforehand. I don't have a clue what some of my mercs weapons use clip-wise. Maybe it doesn't matter.

Thanks. Maybe they weren't close enough. I'm having mousing trouble with this game. It's hardware trouble, as far as I can tell, and is probably what I deserve for trying to play on a laptop.

You can "repackage" ammo from the sector inventory screen, just as you can in JA2.
