Weird barges

Post by Kingfisher »

I'm playing scenario #16 and am creating barge TFs at Rabaul. The first 2-3 TFs arrive normally, but since then I've been getting strange results.

For instance, one TF would show up with half the barges fully fueled and the others at zero. Other times the TFs would show up with some of the barges already loaded with supplies. And the weirdest was the last one, a combination of the above plus one barge came in with 28 system damage.

Anyone knows what gives?

It's not weird, it's what UV does, some might even call it a bug.  You'll also notice that the only consistent thing is that the creating TF will dictate the home base for the barges created.

I never thought that doing an AAR would be so time consuming and difficult.

There are two types of barges, one carries more fuel than the other I believe. Also I think when you create large barge fleets, one in 5,6,(?) are loaded with fuel. I guess your barges are using this fuel cargo to refuel some of your barges that are running out of fuel.

The 28% system damage, don´t know. Hit a rock unloading, who knows?
