Exiting after completing the First Mission

I finished the first mission.. Was promised a vehicle. I cant take the jeep in the road.. Do I just exit by pressing the red arrow on the left side of the screen? I tried to exit a couple of times and my computer just crashed.

it is posted elsewheres, but...

when you get the jeep, it is not on the tactical map, it is on the Strat map, when you click on a map area to go to, you get the jeep to take you there

Yeah, just think of the jeep as a "virtual jeep". It's just an excuse in the story to give you means to move your mercs from one sector to another.

This question is asked alot and I admit I was confused at first too.  Might be worth making a sticky FAQ for these kinds of questions and possibly update the manual/offline FAQ as well?
