Patch Problems...

Hi

I've tried to download the 1.0.4 G patch...i unistalled and reinstalled the whole game...but the version upon launch still says 1.0.1 and the game still crashes in the same part of campaign...right when Germany begins a siege in minor country. Is there something special i'm supposed to do to apply the patch?

You could try to install betapatch 1.05B or wait until official patch 1.05C (tomorrow). Both bring a lot of new improvements and bugs fixed.

I also have had problems with the 1.04.G patch. After installing the patch when no request was made to input the serial number of the game - when I try to get the game to play I receive the error message " Serial Key invalid you are not allowed to play WWI" Any ideas how to solve?

You have to go to CONFIGURE GAME MENU and fill in the serial key again.

Many thanks for this but, as a complete IT illiterate, how do I configure the game menu? I am blocked from accessing the game competely so cannot get to the game menu screen.
