Matrix: WITP AE, COG EE, WIF
Stardock: Elemental
Sega: Empire Total War

Actually, Elemental's not coming out until 2010, unless of course you preordered, in which case you get to be part of the beta next year.

ah yes well beta then... [8D]

What ever HPS Sims churns out next, I'll first in line. [:D]

I just hope they change their price rate and/or continue the Ancient Warfare series in '09.

[:D] Lol! Yeah, that was Stardock's little joke about the DRM other companies are using.
So no DRM in... what the game was again?
You know what they say, don't you? About how us MechWarriors are the modern knights, how warfare has become civilized now that we have to abide by conventions and rules of war. Don't believe it.

I've got SaS preordered.

Prolly look at BftB, but I am hardly good at CotA, so I should focus there first I would think.

I'm with Hertson, I would take Crown of Glory: EE is there was a good upgrade or the price was right.

I'm intrigued with WiF and the 2 by 3 East Front game (would like to see more info on that).

Mostly, I am with Marc and JD, I need to focus on what I HAVE rather than be distracted by every... HEY, DID SOMETHING SHINY JUST GO BY!

I see you are familiar with the Matrix way of releasing : let the players wait for the release and on release-date give the message "backordered" and let us wait for another month or so at least. It has been so for the last 4 games they released, is this a kind of odd selling method ?? And what's the news on WIP:AE ? should have been released by now but no news anymore , not even a new postponed release-date

Actually, we've done well overall this year with the vast majority of our releases having physical copies ship out on the release date. We did hit some problems with the last few releases due to shipping problems on a batch of manuals to the UK warehouse combined with unusually high demand on some titles, but these did not affect the US warehouse and shouldn't reoccur for future releases.

Eastern, you are wrong about WITP-AE.

There is much news in the WITP forum, the project is ongoing. Also, there has never been an actual release date for WITP-AE. Many guess at it, but nothing official has ever been released.

NOTE: I do not believe it should be released until it is ready.

A good sci-fi choice is Galactic Assault: Prisoner of Power from the folks who did Massive Assault. It pretty much sank without trace on launch, and both publishers and developers seem to prefer to pretend it doesn't exist but it is, in fact, an excellent game. If you can find it on e-bay or somewhere it would probably only cost a dollar or two.
