PBEM questions

Post by gwgardner »

Concerning PBEM games:

1) what the heck is the repo.dat file for? Most importanty, does it have to be sent to the next player in the PBEM group along with the data folder?

2) In my PBEM I am a group of AXIS countries. Just getting started. I note that as I play Italy's turn, for instance, I cannot see anything in my allied countries. Is that by design? It's going to make for some very funky front lines! Please tell me it ain't so.

I think that will last as long as Italy is neutral, but suspect it will change when she becomes a beligerent.

The way Gary and I are playing the emails fly fast and furious since we might only do one national turn and then have to pass the file. I know this may make sense from an initiative standpoint, but it is cumbersome I would rather do all "my" neutrals then have Gary do all "his".

Yeah, my bad.  I forgot that while a country is neutral it shouldn't get to see the dispositions of even its probable future allies.
