It's not even worth discussing the validity of this "theory", any more than it's worth discussing the "possibility" of a faked Moon landing.

Like I said, nothing to do with the WitP forum.

The next question will ask if Gen. Patton will be in AE?

Oddly enough the answer is "yes, if".

If the Japanese invade the US West Coast in AE, Patton will appear as a Corps Commander (commanding the II Armored Corps) along with other US reinforcements.

While I do disagree with T in that I feel ANY subject is worth discussing (make that ALMOST any), I do agree with him in that this discussion really does belong in the geberal threads as 1) it's not really WITP specific, and 2) Such as discussion should be opened up to a more general audience.

Sounds similar to the George Kennedy movie 'Brass Target' - but the players and motivations are quite different.

This sort of conspiracy nonsense probably doesn't belong here.

There is a great deal of evidence to support this case. Unfortunately, when the US military faked the crash of an airliner into the Pentagon on 9/11 much of it was destroyed. Thankfully though, if you look carefully at the film of the so moon landings you can see a box of documents behind Neil Armstrong’s left leg as he steps down onto the surface of the sound stage in Hollywood – and in it there is a file clearly titled "Patton Assassination". You can see it between the files marked "Details of Next Week’s Japanese Attack on Pearl Harbor" and "Roswell Autospy Report 1947".

Perhaps, but the first rule of assassination is don't do it if you don't have to. The reasons for the Soviets to assassinate him and the motives for the US to be complicit are exceedingly weak.

I agree fully with you niceguy2005  but, I personaly faind the story interesting due to all the new material made availeble to the public the last year or two.

Due to the conflict between Eisenhover and Patton
(when Patton got the orders of transfering German POW's to Soviet Union for "Forced Labour in Definete")
Patton wrote some bad things about the whole thing in his diary, im sure you have read sevral of Patton's quotes about the whole thing...

I have to admit i have asked my self, would Eisenhoover been able to become President of the USA if Patton had gone to the Press as he "threatend to do" ?

Anwser is maby yes sure, of course why not... or it might be something different,  I dont know how the US Public would react to the whole thing..

Patton had an ancestor that was a Confederate general that made many enemies during the War Between the States.  After the war, seventeen Union officers formed a cabal that vowed to exterminate any male descendant of this Rebel.  By 1945, these seventeen officers had 73 descendants who were officers in the militaries of the United States (59 of them), Britain (4), France (2), Russia (2), Germany (1), Romania (1), Italy (1), Brazil (1), Australia (1), and Denmark (1).  General George Patton's ascent to power and fame infuriated these men, who promptly renewed their vow to exact revenge.  Despite the tumult, carnage and confusions as World War II came to and end, these proud and determined men cooperated to orchestrate Patton's assassination.  I'm writing a book about this based upon some documents just released from the Cuban national archives, plus the long-lost letters of Colonel General Vasily Dreadmantov.
