Game Locks Up

Post by Wrathchild »

I've developed a problem that I'm not sure how to get around. Lately, while managing games, I run into an issue where if I go into my Lineup Card, and view a player (usually reviewing their Splits, which sometimes takes a while to load) the game will lock up when closing the Player Card and going back to the Lineup Card. I have to kill the application, losing the game in process, and maybe screwing up some stats. Any idea what might cause this or how to release whatever is locking up the game?

As I suspected, the stats in some place get askew when the game crashes in the middle of a game. When playing a new game after this, the on-field data that shows next to the picture of the current batter does not match what their player card says (see included image). Notice how the lineup shows Mike Donlin's BA as .353, but it shows .345 next to his photo. .353 is the BA from his player card, but whether it's correct or the .345 is correct I have no idea. Does anyone know where it would be pulling the .345 from? I'm more than willing to edit tables to try to get things back to normal.

As a side note on that image above, I've noticed that the game has a habit of throwing errors up on the scoreboard that never occurred, such as in this case.

Does anyone know what is required to open the replay.psa file? It doesn't seem to work with Access.
