Early War P-40 Replacements in AE?

Post by Reg »

I know you guys are busy but I was curious how the topic of the early war P-40 shortage was being handled in AE??

This was issue was first raised in the the following thread (P-40s replacements in Dec'41 to Jan'42) but as this was before AE had been announced, I was wondering whether it had made the AE list.
Cheers,
Reg.

I'm not on the air team, but a lot of these details were thought out.  With the air war model changes, uber air battles will be rare and air battles will be more along historical lines in size and losses.  I'm playing a test with the AI right now and all Allied airframes are in short supply at the start, but if you don't try to upgrade units to P-40Es too quickly, there are enough around to replace losses.

I second the motion for an AAR! I guess the team is focusing on the AI now, but I'd certainly be interested in seeing an AAR involving the AI. Even if both sides were played by the computer.

The Allied player get an injection of P-40, P-39, & P-400 airframes during the early months of '42.
Where's the Any key?
