unit view

Gary Grigsby’s World at War is back with a whole new set of features. World at War: A World Divided still gives complete control over the production, research and military strategy for your side, but in this new updated version you’ll also be able to bring spies into the mix as well as neutral country diplomacy, variable political events and much more. Perhaps the largest item is the ability to play a special Soviet vs. Allies scenario that occurs after the end of World War II.

The ability to select and view some information about a unit was added a while ago (see some discussion here).

I always wanted to be able to see a little more, so I added some! I think it is kind of cool.

It's very cool. Excellent work. [8D] Is this in the next patch?
Rice is a great snack when you're hungry and you want 2,000 of something to eat.

Beautiful. If there are multiple units under the same icon (like the two German infantry in the screenshot) can the player "cycle through" them to view each unit?

At the moment, no. Each visible icon is a "stack" of units. When you select one, you just pick up the top. If you want others lower down, you'd have to move the top ones out of the way.

I'll think about this as a low priority item.
