PBEM

Post by gwgardner »

Anyone want to play PBEM? Can't always guarantee more than one turn a day, but will try. Any side. Latest patch. 1939 full campaign scenario.

Good morning Gary,

I would like to try the Allies in the 1939 scenario.

I suggest we take ownership as follows :
Chuck : Great Britain(W), USA(W), France(W), Poland(W), USSR(C).
Optional for Chuck : Jugoslavia(N), Norway(N), Belgium(N), Netherlands(N), Greece(N).
Gary : Germany(X), Italy(X), Slovakia(X)
Optional for Gary : Hungary(N), Romania(N), Bulgaria(N).
AI : All others.

If any AI managed neutral is attacked the opposing alliance takes ownership asap. If any neutral is brought in by diplomacy they are taken over by the alliance asap.

I would like to start with us controling the alliance leaning neutrals which I call "optional" above.

In general I would say that no extra restrictions on things that can be done should be imposed.  I play with the house rule that the USA cannot start "lend lease", ie. convoys to beligerents, till the game events fire.  Belligerent nations can send convoys to neutrals.

If this all sounds good let's give it a whirl.  I will try and do what I can to make an AAR from this conflict.  If you want to do a joint one then you might jot down your comments each turn.  We can put it together later.

Chuck

Excellent and thanks. Good luck to both of you.

I am very curious to see if North Africa can play a role in the outcome, or is it just there to make the map look cool.

Dear Balto,

It would be fun to turn it around as I am playing Gary with my Allies.  Does any one on the deveopment side know if multiple, simultaneous PBEM has issues?

Balto, please send me your EMail as a private message through this forum.

I sent you everything in the PBEM folder.  Including the repo.dat file. I hope that is correct.

I hope I did this right.  I know you are going to wipe me out, but I am really looking forward to seeing how this goes.

GO RAVENS!!!!
