Galacia Offensive?

This revised and updated turn-based grand strategy game from the team at AGEOD brings players back to World War I, including both the Eastern and Western fronts and over 4 campaigns and 10 scenarios. As either a member of the Central Powers, the Entente or a neutral nation, players will confront the epic gauntlet of military and political challenges that faced the likes of Kitchener, Joffre, Luddendorf, Clemenceau, Czar Nicholas II or Enver Pasha.

What happens in Galacia is dependent on the Grand Plan chosen by the player(s). The Russian Empire has multiple plans to choose from also, as does the A/H Empire. If the A/H's choose the plan to concentrate on Serbia (which will send the 2nd Army to Serbia and the KUK) and the Russians have an Offense into A/H (likely), the A/H's will be in deep trouble.

If Germany goes with one of the variants of a Russia first Grand Plan and the A/H's choose a Russia fist Grand Plan, the Russian Empire will be in deep trouble.

As goofy as the historical A/H Empires opening was, there was actually some good reasons for the changing plans. In the game, the so called "Conrad" plan will allow you to deploy the A/H 2nd Army where it is needed most, just a little later. If the Germans hit Russia hard and do not attack France at all, then A/H would not only be safe in sending the extra army to the Balkans, but it would also be a prudent Idea. Although I have not played that situation yet, I assume that France would quickly be sending significant forces to Serbia.

I have started a few times each with the historical CP plans with the allies varying their plans and I have not yet had Austria heavily pressed which rather bugs me... It seems either my Austria is lucky or the Russian attacks are not strong enough because I repulse all but one normally and in the one i lose that army typically ends up out of supply or isolated within a few turns just a couple of zones inside of Austria...

At no time have I ever been worried about Austria... though my deepest game so far is in Nov/Dec 1914.

Russia in real life was in trouble but it just seems the AI as Russia is completely incompetent. I understand they should be vs Germany depending on the plans used but Austrian and Russian forces from my limited knowledge should be fairly comparable.

The ai has not struck me as a being super intelligent, but it doe make some crafty moves here and there. I have only played it with mid way agressivness and with "full time". It should make it a little better.
