Does the game have any 3d at all?

Norm Koger's The Operational Art of War III is the next game in the award-winning Operational Art of War game series. TOAW3 is updated and enhanced version of the TOAW: Century of Warfare game series. TOAW3 is a turn based game covering operational warfare from 1850-2015. Game scale is from 2.5km to 50km and half day to full week turns. TOAW3 scenarios have been designed by over 70 designers and included over 130 scenarios. TOAW3 comes complete with a full game editor.

Topic says it all. I'm not looking for major graphics...I understand that's not what the game is about...just a little eye candy perhaps.

Nope.
There are 2 pseudo 3D zoom settings, but afaik, the vast majority of TOAW players do not use them
That said, all graphics are moddable, globally or piece by piece :)

What do you mean moddable?  I'm trying to decide between Tiller's Campain and this and I feel like I would like this game better but just the lite graphics that Tiller has have me intrigued.

Norm started it, and I've spent some time making sure that you can spend a lot of time in customizing it, everything from the basic tiles to the language. It takes a bit of editing of configuration files at the moment, but it's not too difficult. If you want to be extreme, you can even create customized scenarios. The most extreme of these is a Lord of the Rings inspired scenario. It's going to become even more moddable in the future.
