WitP Flute Music in Commercial??

Post by John 3rd »

I was writing my AAR Updates and suddenly heard WitP flute music. I was confused since the sound was off on the computer. I did; however, have the Miami-Baltimore F-Ball game on and a commercial was playing.

I would swear that the music in the background was out WitP music! The commercial is for 21st century Insurance.

Anyone know anything about this?

I have seen that commercial as well, I didn't really think the flute music sounded too much like something listened to in a Yoga class.

I recall some time ago there was also an anti-McCain video on youtube that used the WitP intro theme.

My 17 month old son is familiar with 2 songs (other than kiddie tunes), they are the theme to "The Office" and the enire WITP repertoire of tunes. When that commercial aired this weekend he put his blocks down an turned and looked at the computer screen, which was blank. All I could say was, "Yes son, I beleive it was, I beleive it was."

Just another of example of the awesome power of WITP to bring families closer together.

It's not actually a flute.  It is Pan Pipes aka Pan Flute.  The particular composition is called The Andes arranged and performed by Barrie Gledden, Richard Lacy, and Simeon Wood.  It is a piece that seems only to be available from Audio Networks, where the designers licensed their music from.
I have been inputting my orders for the campaign game first turn since July 4, 2009. I'm getting close. In another month or two, I might be able to run the turn!
