Teleported French Garrison

Hi,
The Austrian forces led by Mack have just defeated a French force with Massena during the battle of Turin. The Austrians used the assault button in the battle portion of the game to try to take the single factor garrison left behind in Turin but didnt breach. At some stage, exactly when I am unsure the French garrison disappeared. I dont think this is a bug though because it posted the action to the game log it said "Piedmont transferred 1 factor from Turin to Grenoble" where another French garrison existed and would have been the nearest supply route.

Any idea why this action was taken? Could it have been because of the nationality of the factor in the French garrison at Turin?

We are not sure if we should proceed or not but suspect there is a logical explanation.

Was there any political change in Piedmont?

No none at this stage. Garrison gone and 2 Austrian corps left outside the city..

Do you happen to have the autosave from the land phase that I could see the evac??? I cannot imagine why the unit would xfer??? Was it overgarrisoned, maybe?

No it was a single factor garrison...I have attached the saved files. Not sure if this will help or not...
