Air strikes: who´s bombing me?

Post by Deadmoon »

AI send air attacks against my units. The results windows appear but i´m unable to see which unit is being attacked, since no icon appears over attacked units. [&:]

May i suggest to add a crosshair symbol over air attacked units on the map so we may notice them?

It would be useful to mark somehow which air unit is trying to intercept the attacker too. Some people complain about automatic interception. A "frozen" feature could be implemented so you could mark one of your unis as "inactive" and that could avoid suicide interception missions.

The suggestion of inactive air units is a good one, this would allow the current knowledge by the attacker that they will be intercepted to continue.  Also remember that there is a fairly detailed report on air strikes in your reports menu, although this is only visible on your turn.  The reports method is all you have available as the second PBEM player so I get used to checking it after a turn where I have been attacked.

Keep your suggestions coming as the developers read the forums frequently.

That's a good idea.

Our task list for next update is complete but I think it's worth to consider.
