RE: Few Qestions
ABout the LCU withdrawals. Will we have to move them back to San Francisco {or elsewhere} in order to withdraw them like current RN withdrawals? Is there a list of upcoming withdrawals {like the list of reinforcements}?

Yes an no and we went the way we did because we were not able to code choice into it.
Also defining a Div is not that easy
Lest say a player chooses to send 39th Indian Div when asked to withdraw a Div they are sending a Training Div off map in place of a British Motorised Inf Div to Italy.
What you want is not possible within the engine which ultimately decided the question
Thanks Andy, my post was only a comment without knowing what is really possible within the engine.

They're attached to the US West Coast (Fourth Army) HQ.
West Coast units with the headquarters listed in white, can't change HQs, so they are stuck on the west Coast. You'll also see the withdrawal date prominently displayed on the LCU page. These are the folks that trained in / garrisoned the West Coast until they were ordered to Europe.
West Coast units with the headquarters in yellow, can change HQ (cost PPs). Once changed, they can deploy. Some of the deployable units also have withdrawal dates -- these were mostly units that were historically sent to Alaska in 42-43, then redeployed to Europe in 1944.
Thanks for the reply!

Sort of. It's now available to both sides, as a switch to set for each individual pre-defined TF in the editor. So the speed bonus can apply to no, some or all TF's in a given scenario.

Will units rebuilding recieving replacements still be stuck with the 1 a day that we see in stock?
Sucks that it takes 6 months to fill out a small IJA base force or even an Allied unit when you have a slew of replacements in the pools. If you have the replacements, I would rather see a big experience hit and fill the unit alot faster, than the way it is now.
This is a good question to which I would also like to know the answer. Anyone know?

Works just like WiTP-I. If you have auto-replacement "on", every one of your gazillion units will be competing, on an equal basis, for the next poor schmuck that graduates from basic.ORIGINAL: USS AmericaThis is a good question to which I would also like to know the answer. If you turn auto-replacement "off", and manually turn "on" selected units, they will fill up faster. SAIEW.

RE: Few Qestions
I have just never found this to work......I have turned off every unit but 1 small base force and still it grows at 1 squad per turn or 1 something..............takes forever. And this is in Tokyo with 100,000+ supply. I have seen it take forever to rebuild even a US base force that gets hammered when it is in SF, and I have never seen the US lack for replacements. I have 2,000 plus support squads but they get at the most 2 per turn but usually 1 per turn.
God forbid you get a Aviation Reg butchered and have to rebuild that........will take almost a year. The one thing I was really hope would be changed.
p.s. Thanks for the reply.

RE: Few Qestions
Gosh. I've never seen that. I mean, I believe you, but I've never seen that. Way it works is you have a pool and the pool numbers define the # of loops. So if you have 100 in the pool it will either go to the first 100 units in the list, or if there's only 1 unit, it will access that unit 100 times. There is a random chance that a unit will get a replacement (or not) in every loop step. Replacement is supply dependant and dependant on other stuff as well, but ... If you got the requirements and you got the pool numbers, I'm at a total loss as to why you can't rebuild.
Don't mean to say it will happen all at once .. it won't. But it should give you more than 12 guys a day.
I've never seen this in AE, but then again, I've never seen this in WiTP-I either, so I don't know what to say.
Keep this in mind and keep savegames on a one turn backup. If it ever happens, I would like to know, but can't do anything without a savegame.
Sorry was not more helpful.

RE: Few Qestions
I will watch for this........should be really easy to catch. Just a pet peeve of mine. Maybe it is bad rolls, but it is really frustrating.
Mainly because I am faced with rebuilding the 2nd Marine Div in one game and only save about 70 rifle squads and a selection of everything else.......faced with 3-4 years there, which means they are gone. I have a Chinese Div in Calcutta with 100,000 supply, and about 2,000 rifle squads in the pool, so we will see how long it takes to fill that unit out, with just rifle squads. It is a PBEM game, so will have to either grab my opponents password, actually, I think Andy Mac has both ours.

RE: Few Questions
I thought that adequate supply (over 20k), having the LCU assigned to the base it as be the same (both West Coast for example), having the Command HQ in the same hex is best or at least within command range, Malaria free, and Manpower in that hex were the only things that effected replacements being added to the LCU.
Does having a high Admin rating for the LCU leader help at all??
Is there anything else I'm missing??

I think I have tried just about every combination around, but never see an increase in speed. San Fransico, 100,000+ supply, HQ (with high admin), LCU commander with high admin and yet I never seem to get more than 1 of each type squad/equipment per day..............Date is 5/20/42 so you can imagine what my pools look like as the Allies.

Same for me. It's painfully obvious with support squads, with around 2000 in the pool as the Allies in 3/42, I have many, many base force units that need them, and I've never seen more than 1 or 2 squads added to a unit in one day. Several of these BF units that are trying to draw support squads are sitting in Calcutta, with SE Asia Command HQ there, over 150k supply at the base, and 50k+ supply at some of the bases connected by railways, just 2 or 3 hexes away. I've also set the SEAC HQ commander to a general with the highest Admin rating I could find.
Things have been this way for me for the 2 years I've been playing WitP I.

Oh, how I would love to have someone point out another key factor that I've been missing all this time, so I can get devices and squads flowing from my pools onto the map. [8|]

RE: Few Questions
There should be particular bases for both sides that get bonuses for drawing replacements, IF they have a Command HQ there. For the Allies it should be San Fran, Sydney, Soerabaja, Manila, Singapore, Calcutta, Karachi, and Chungking. I may have the experience level go down, but for the most part I want my troops to be able be used again ASAP.

I was too brief - it is faster if say you move 2nd MarDiv to SF, but it still takes a long time regardless of how many squads/devices are available in the pool.
