Fortified Goose Egg Confusion.

Post by Champagne »

Folks, I'm a noob for this game. I bought the CC Arnhem long ago when it first came out and liked it, but, that's a long time ago, and, CC:WaR is my second purchase of this series.

Give me a break if my dilemma seems dumb. I'm playing the Fortified Goose Egg Operation. For the first Strat Turn, I can't move any of my German battlegroups on the strategic map, perhaps because they all share each area with a US battlegroup.. After I resolve the first strat move, somehow, the US battlegroups have moved BEHIND my German battlegroups!

Yikes! Is there some way for me to prevent the US battlegroups from moving behind my German battlegroups?

Thanks.

In short no apart from redesigning the senerio.

There are three possible starts per map, german attack, meeting, allied attack.   What you're seeing here is German attack whereby the allied units in place have immediate access to the remaining entry/exit VLs.  Where ever possible the AI will make use of them and move the current right (towards Germany) regardless of conflict to vacate the current map for units remain closer to Antwerp.

I think that makes sense?
