Problem / Question about speed starting new season

New here. Just bought game. I love it so far, just one issue. The post season seems to take about two hours to complete. It hangs up during the free agent signing process and counts from 1- 100 at a very slow pace. Is it my computer? I have a gig of ram. I thought the newer issues of the game were supposed to be faster.

I have tle latest version and the update patch. Just got it yesterday.

2 hours? Wow. I'm running on a less than optimum system and it doesn't take very long at all. Do you have something that could be interfering in the process, such as a Scan On Access virus protection or something? Or do you just have a very large association?
