Vista and PBEM

Commander – Europe at War Gold is the first in a series of high level turn based strategy games. The first game spans WW2, allowing players to control the axis or allied forces through the entire war in the European Theatre.

Vista and PBEM

I've got a new computer, unfortunately with VISTA. I have been able to get the game to run (solo) but not in PBEM mode. My opponent sent me a start up turn as the Germans, it seemed to load all right but then after I entered my Allies password and hit return, NADA, ZILCH, ZERO. Screen just stared at me for the longest time. Anyone have success in PBEM with VISTA?

I have Vista and played many PBEM games without any problem.

I've actually encountered fewer problems in PBEM play with my Vista machine than with my old XP OS.
