hot fix?

Post by ndrose »

Marshall, any idea whether we can expect a 1.05.04 to fix some of the most pressing problems? And if so, can you give us an estimate of how long it will be and what will be included?

I am trying to isolate any upgrade issues as well AND trying to isolate the minor secondary issues as well before I do a hot fix! No ETF yet but I will keep you posted!

Testing seems OK so far.  I'm not sure if what I have covers the most pressing issues, though.  Phantom/disappearing/shifting units appears to be a big problem for PBEM players who have upgraded to 1.05.  Also screwed up maps.

It was the issue I reported to you separately in email.

Fixed by cleaning the Battles folder after upgrading, and before loading any saved games.

I've seen a couple issues I've been trying to recreate to no avail.

Portugal got a PP for being part of the winning side of the Naval Battle...
Nelson  was on the map with no ship.

Small head scratchers like that...

AI still doing some odd things...

Thresh, have you been able to recreate the Nelson-with-no-ships problem after cleaning your battles folder first?

Cleaning the battles folder has fixed all of the non-AI issues I've had with 1.05 so far.
