Advanced Bombur mod: a failed attempt

Post by Bombur »

-Once my mod is approaching the final beta version (meaning it will have the definitive # of units (216, of whom 211 were already defined), I made a small experience trying to create an advanced version (using the new features from the advanced file for random maps). I made this by linking the advanced ptmaster file to Bombur mod (using the settings) and then saving the resulting file as advanced bombur.ptmaster. Results were mixed. The file is functional and loads the SF´s of my mod. It also has seasons, but no action cards apppeared, depite the fact the action cards are in the file. So, what I did wrong???

Can you try to export the original Cards as txt files and then importing the txt files again to the advanced file?

Is that possible? I´m not sure if this the trouble, as the actioncards are included in the new scenario file(pt2) created. They simply don´t appear in the game.

I realized what was happening...I disabled the actioncards in the settings. Now diplomacy is working...but it´s still a long time until we have a working advanced Bombur mod.

No hurry Bombur, it's gonna be a long time before AT2 hits the shelfs.
