problem with loading

when i was in the infantry if i was ordered to load into a truck it didnt matter how far it was i was THERE!!! I am having trouble because it seems to be that the unit has to be in the same hex as the truck and sometimes its impossible to get them to manuver into the same spot is therte a key i need to know about why wont they load when thier in the hex next to the truck its driving me CRAZY:mad:

In spwaw if you want to load an unit on a vehicle, the unit MUST be in the same hex with it.No other way.
To put the unit IN the same hex, you have to highlight the unit, then HOLD shift key AND left click on the target(vehicle) hex.
Once there, click on the to-be-loaded unit, then click "L" key or the corresponding button within the panel on the right of the screen, then click on the unit where you want your unit to be loaded in.
Quicker to do than to write it...

Danny boy, you need to press the "shift" key while clicking. that will move the unit into the same hex without firing. Load from there............
