I know you haven't gotten there yet, but can I see a screenshot of northern Australia from Broome to Darwin with Timor if it fits?? The trails/roads were different from stock to Andrew's and I want to see what they are plus added bases.

Are the Tf icons slightly smaller or do my eyes decieve me?
Not smaller. They are unique to a type of TF. CV and SFC TF are SAIEW. The TFs you see in the Malaya Screenie are Amphibious, SFC, and at Singora you see a Multiple TF Icon. As in more than one TF. Probably a Amhib and SFC TF as Escort.

Man, those maps are beautiful.  It is odd to see such a "big stretch of water" between Formosa and the Philippines. [:D]

When I see all of new bases and locations, I have to ask;

1. Does the AI still take locations on or before it's historical dates?

2. Does the AI capture all of thoese little places or do they just turn Japanese once the major bases  are taken or a when a country surenders?

Of course not. If we were to make the AI do all that we'd have to delay the release of AE to the point where people were really beginning to wonder if it even existed. They'd have to sate their appetite for AE with scarce snippets of info from varying threads and scarce AARs, and a screenie or two, and then ask questions that really aren't intended to be answered, but make a point to the developers that...oh wait...[;)]

Okay, I see that you're in Naples... SO.
1. Be careful.
2. Are the "Hey Joes" still around?
3. Do they Med-moor the Burkes? If so, can you get me a picture? and;
4. Which side of the tunnel do you work on?

Other than that, don't go in the Gut until the game is done - capiche??

December 9, 1941
Pearl Harbor is a mess, and the Pacific Fleet took a pounding. Nonetheless, sturdy, American-made belt armor saved a few of our battlewagons from oblivion... so far. KB is only about 120nm to the northeast of Oahu, and it's likely they will strike again. If so, they may be in for a little surface surprise. [:D] The enemy carriers lingered for two days' worth or raids pulverizing the airfield and mincing our Army Air Corps. At best, two dozen IJN aircraft were downed over Pearl during this time. With such light losses the Japanese pilots must have all been inspired by the Divine Brady Wind. [:'(]

A few invasions in the DEI and PI. Kuantan will probably fall soon. Buffaloes did well over Singapore against unescorted Japanese bombers. The brightest spot of the day was off of Midway Island where the SS Argonaut avenged the USS Tennessee at Pearl. I'm worried for what's about to befall Midway...

Yes a true day of infamy, an innocent Japanese oiler is sunk without warning by an American submarine, in retaliation we "touch up" the submarines home base. We demand that the submarine skipper is bought before the Imperial courts to take his punishement!

All we were doing was droping off some oil to the native population of Midway who are being cruelly oppressed by the American military!

Cheers

Native population? What are the albatrosses going to do with a bunch of fuel oil? The garrison commander at Midway writes an emphatic note to Green Peace, the Sierra Club, and anyone else who will listen protesting this environmental disaster perpetrated by the IJN

Bah Details datails... it was fish oil as the Americans had depleted the fishing areas so much we need to hand feed the birds with imported oil, please prepare a welcoming party for the teenagers who have volunteered to help feed the fish oil to the birds.

Cheers

Could you perhaps expand a bit on the possibilities of replenishing carrier's stock of air torpedoes? I see a mention it can only be done in Japan at the moment, what about other places to be conquered/built up soon?

Actually...time they spend HERE...is time they cannot be THERE........I prefer they do their thing, and I will be grateful for any snippets they CAN provide, without mistakenly thinking it an obligation.

No offense man, but Elf DID answer your questions, albeit indirectly through use of a rhetorical device called "irony". If you read his response, he said the AE-AI would only be able to do those things you asked about IF certain other events had occurred. All of which HAVE happened. [:)]
