Anybody Fighting Goblin

I am switching over to cable (yes!), but I am having difficulties (no!). I can surf the net fine, but sending/recieving emails is a different story, so bear with me for a day or so. My buddy is computer literate, and is gonna come find out what I did wrong.

A Goblin is fighting himself lets all watch in amusement. Don't worry I'm sure it just a matter of setting up your incoming POP address and outgoing SMTP address to get it resolved. Your local provider should have a support page to help get it set up. If you don't mind me asking who is your provider and I'll find the proper page so you don't have to wait. I'd talk you through it but it's easier to see it in front of you. :p :rolleyes:

Luckily, my friend does this computer stuff for a living, and I managed to get him here to help me! (not an easy task)

It seems to be working ok. Thanks for the prayers, and to gmenfan for the help offer. By the way, pop is something you drink to me, and smtp is a sound my daughter makes when she craps her diaper. Its all foreign sounding!

Sounds like you already understand: drinking POP=incoming and "grunt...SMTP....ah!" = outgoing

You must be from the northeast if you know that pop is something that you drink.

My daughter took an SMTP on me last night at her 2:00 AM feeding.
