Improvemetns respect to Steel3

Dear Sirs,
I Am a longtime user of Steel Pathers III, from SSI,(I have over 120 scenarios, many downloaded from teh Net, some made by me) and Am contemplating to buy SPWAW, and SPMW when it shows up. Could any body be able to tell me:
--What are the improvements respect to Steel3? In particular, I hear of a "battalion level game" I would like to be able to retain the possibility of brigade level encounters.
--Is there any chance (ALAS!) of a compatibility of teh Sttel3 scenarios with teh new game?

Chiabra, the changes are so numerous that I'd suggest you go to the SPWAW downloads page and get & read the manual. It's a pdf file so acrobat reader is also needed, for which there is a link at the d/l page.

As for scenario compatibility, practically nonexistent afaik. It might be possible to convert the map but the SP3 units do not exist.
