More Tigers at Kursk

Post by Redleg »

This is for all of you who downloaded some earlier panzer adventures. Your testing and feedback was invaluable.

Here we go:
Kursk, 6 July 1943.
You have in your "core" force:
3 Tigers (One is unit AO)
2 Panzers
2 Stugs
1 elite Pz Grenadier company with a platoon traded for pioneers.

In addition, you can purchase 1000 points of reinforcements of
your choosing to round out the kampgruppe.

Without reinforcements, the battle is very difficult. How much easier it gets depends upon what you purchase for reinforcements. So you get to "design" your own.

I hope you will try this and post a bit of feedback about it. Things like what you purchased and scores, etc. In this way, I can adjust things.

Oh yes, an absolutely brutal map with wide-open Tiger visibility.

Have fun and please post your reaction - good or bad.

I doubt it will play well PBEM unless re-done to strength the Soviet side.

I will work but I wouldn't bother playing it PBEM.

The thing about pbem scenarios is the testing is very time-consuming unless it is done online.

The map is brilliant. A real masterpiece.
They struggled with a ferocity that was to be expected of brave men fighting with forlorn hope against an enemy who had the advantage of position......knowing that courage was the one thing that would save them.
