No in order to fix the Lost Leader issue, the *.dat file would have to had to be redone, and it wasn't. The only way to help correct this issue is to use the unsupported program "Campaign Fixer" from The Armor Site, it has been updated to work with all MegaCampaigns.

If a leader gets killed, he may get replaced on the spot, but he won't be carried forward into the next battle. That unit will be leadless. An unfortunate circumstance but not unplayable, so protect your leaders.

OK. I will.I usually keep them well out of the action anyway.

does this problem only exsist with the main leaders?

Squad to me means a single unit that moves and exists and when I click on it I can move all of the men in it at once to another hex, A single tank equals a unit to me also.

I'm assuming by Unit you mean leaders as in the Platoon's LT or something right?
If you can read this, you're at the end of my post.

No individual squads, if you right click on any given unit the unit info screen pops up which has in it the unit leaders name and rank. In a Mega as a unit progresses through a battle they earn experience and as they do they command their troops by making better decesions, sometimes their recon abilities, accuracey, sneaking etc. all improve and this follows them throughout the course of the Mega. The problem is if a leader of a unit is killed(or and entire unit disperses), it's replaced automatically by the next in command for the remainder of that battle. The next battle by design from the core.dat file reinserts the unit back into battle (because in real life, it's very rarely that an enitre unit would be killed) well when the unit reappears into the next battle it is leaderless therefore all experience gained by unit leader has been lost.

Sorry slethine

Sorry about that since I posted Fabio has taken some of the SPWAW features on The Armor Site to try and reduce bandwidth usage.
