M4 Jess: big thanks for 'Stalingrad'

Post by tracer »

Just wanted to give a round of applause for M4's hard work and attention to detail on his epic Stalingrad map. I'm finishing up a pair of PBEMs on it and they've been two of the most fun and challenging battles I've ever played. Thanks and kudos on a true hall of fame map.

I also want to expand this 'thanks' to all the map & scenario designers, especially Brent and Redleg. Your contributions and dedication to the community go a long way in making SPWAW the great game that it is, and takes up the slack for the rest of us.

And although I appreciate all the hours of entertainment your hard work has provided me, if my wife ever catches any of you... :D

Here is the original. You may want to modify the player two side slightly. I found that if the Russian wanted to request reinforcements sometimes the re-inforcement hex is in the water. Other than that it's a great map.
You can get maps on the opponents wanted forum too so keep an eye on that one.

Hi Jack

Could you FW me a copy of this map too?

Did you ever get a post from me, I think I may have inadvertently sent it to the sympatico site.
