Textiles, weird

This sequel to the award-winning Crown of Glory takes Napoleonic Grand Strategy to a whole new level. This represents a complete overhaul of the original release, including countless improvements and innovations ranging from detailed Naval combat and brigade-level Land combat to an improved AI, unit upgrades, a more detailed Strategic Map and a new simplified Economy option. More historical AND more fun than the original!

Textiles, weird

Post by balto »

I am goofing around with Prussia in 1803 on Advanced Economy. There are some weird things going on. Warwsaw: no wool or cotton, but producing textiles. There are many other strange ones, but that is the strangest.

I buried this question in another one of my posts. I think it got lost in the shuffle. Is this a goor, or am I missing something?

I don't know how the wool cotton stuff works really (actually putting more people to work in textile raise those amount...) But the provincial number for Textile production isn't the good one. You need actually about 4 wool-cotton for 1 textile. And the provinces making the textile take it from your national stockpile.

A good way to raise Textile production is to invest in farms...

Hey Franck.

You are correct in your post.  But in 1803 Warsaw has no wool and no cotton yet produces 2 textiles.  See how that is not possible?  Is that a glitch in the software, or is it something you and I are missing?

Provinces that produce textiles aren't necessarily the same ones that produce the wool and/or cotton.

The provinces use Labor in the province to manufacture textiles, drawing the wool and cotton from a National Stockpile (the total of those items you produce).
