Windows Vista compatability

Post by DEB »

Hello,

Can anyone tell me if Campaigns on the Danube works OK on Windows Vista?

( If you have the game and you use Windows Vista your comments would be particularly useful. )

Does anyone know if Matrix are planning to update this game to make it Windows Vista compatable if it needs it?

( If it just needs some user "adjustments" to make it work correctly, can anyone please advise the nature and detail of the "adjustments" req'd. )

Many thanks.

I believe the game designer isn't here too much anymore. Sad as the only game I ever got going on this had to end because the guy got Vista and could not load it...it's a splendid little game once you get it to work.

It would be nice to have a PATCH that makes CotD Vista-compatible. Is that possible? Having just recently bought it, I'd like to maximise my use of the game and my impression of Matrix's support.

Sadly it isn't up to Matrix per say as it is for the individual game designer...whom as mentioned seems to not be around anymore...has anyone tried the compatibility option that is in windows...a setting that allows you to run it as if it was on XP or earlier...sometimes that can work.

I can try to explain it if some want to try....
