A PBEM review?

Post by barbarossa2 »

Could anyone give me a quick review (their opinion) of the PBEM feature in CoG:EE?

I would like to find an excuse to buy this game, but it HAS to offer decent, stable, working PBEM.

Thanks. :)

Buy the game and come play sweden since our swedish guy flaked.

Let us know how you like it afterwards.

I have been a big WCS fan since original COG, but just started doing PBEM.

Havent heard anyone say it wasnt stable. There are several PBEM AARs for Forge of Freedom and original Crown of Glory in their respective forum areas.

I'll let players give their opinions about how PBEM works, but I'll state that a PBEM game that we began in beta-testing and have been continuing is up to Turn 32, so it's perfectly stable.

I am downloading the game now.

I may be interested in taking Sweden's spot.

But you know, I have never played before.

Are you using simple or advanced economy?

And which scenario are you playing?
