PBEM Helper question

Post by John Galt »

Is there any way to archive "sent" moves using PBEM Helper?

I'm not sure, let me take a look at it! It doesn't look like it, you'll have to back them up manually. Sorry

Gmenfan, Actually, all I'm concerned with is the last "sent" move. Now that I think of it, the files are possibly still in the email folder. Even though using PBEM Helper, the latest turn may overwrite the existing files. Do you suppose many players use this program? It is handy.........

I don't know about others, but I found the Helper was the quickest and easiest way for PBEM. As far as your files, they can be copied to a folder/folders outside the game.
Retreat is NOT an option.

REMF, Do you mean copied manually or is there some kind of preference to be set?

John those files you sent via PBEM do still reside within the email directory and will remain there until you replace them with the ones returned to you by your opponent, so if you want to keep backup of what you just sent save them after you send them or before you replace them with incoming ones from opponents. I still don't see a way within the program to copy them elsewhere. Many people use it who play multiple games at once, so it is pretty popular.
