It's possible that's what happened, but Marshall is saying that you should get the PP unless you are the one DOWing. I wish he would chime in here since he is the one who implemented all this minor ally crap.

You are correct! You SHOULD get the pp for the control. The benefit to the minor ally is the fact that it is called when YOU issue a DOW as opposed to you having to wait and "win" control of it when it is targeted by another MP. If you did not get the pp then that was wrong (BTW:I saw that problem and fixed it). It must be this way or else getting a minor as an ally has no real benefit since an influenced minor would give you a pp when you gain control of him.
 
That's the explanation of the "minor ally crap" :-)

Ok, looks like I should be getting the PP. I will notify the host of that game.
